Anyone who has spent time in the woods knows the red cap with white spots. This is the fly agaric (Amanita muscaria). We sell it as whole dried caps. Some people prefer this form because you can see it's a mushroom in the pack, not an unknown powder.

The main compounds in fly agaric are muscimol and ibotenic acid.

Пробував червоний мухомор у багатьох продавців, тому вже є з чим порівнювати. Цей варіант для мене виявився справді топовим за якістю.

Особисто я помітив кращу концентрацію та більш спокійний і якісний сон. Також значно зменшилася тяга до куріння та алкоголю. Але найбільше мене здивувала загальна зміна внутрішнього стану та світобачення — почав дивитися на багато речей спокійніше й позитивніше.

Does drying make fly agaric safe?

Raw fly agaric contains toxic and psychoactive substances and can cause poisoning. During drying, some of the ibotenic acid may convert into muscimol, but drying at temperatures up to 45 °C does not make the mushroom safe. Muscimol is psychoactive too, so this processing does not make fly agaric harmless and does not confirm any medicinal properties.

Is there a safe dose of fly agaric?

No scientifically established safe dose for self-use exists. The amount of active substances varies from mushroom to mushroom, so even 1–2 grams can cause poisoning. The weight of dried fly agaric on its own says nothing about safety.

Who should not take fly agaric?

Fly agaric should not be taken by anyone under 18, by pregnant or breastfeeding women, or by people with individual intolerance. If you have any medical condition or take medication, be sure to consult a doctor. Not having any of the listed contraindications does not guarantee that use is safe.

How should I store fly agaric (capsules, powder, whole caps)?

Keep it in a dry, dark place at +5 °C to +20 °C, in a tightly sealed bag or jar. If you bought more than you need for the next month or two, you can freeze it in an airtight bag to keep it longer.
